Through this document, you will find information about: the activity, internal regulations, code of ethics, and mandatory codes of conduct, as well as other information regarding the internal information system (ethics channel) and healthcare insurance.

All information included in the cancellation policy, frequently asked questions, and other information provided through the website on which you register, as well as all other documentation regarding the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience that may be delivered, adheres to this policy and general terms and conditions, all of which are mandatory to comply with and accept.

This policy and general terms and conditions may be modified at any time in order to guarantee the proper development of the registered activity. Any modification may be sent through the available means provided by the user and/or their legal representative; furthermore, we recommend checking the website on a regular basis (https://campusexperiencermf.com/).

THE ACTIVITY

The activity carried out by the Real Madrid Foundation has a clear focus on values-based training and is in no case a competitive or professional promotion activity. Personnel of the Real Madrid Foundation and/or any third party involved in the activity are prohibited from providing any type of testimony, report, and/or document on the technical-sports capabilities of users with the aim of generating any indication of technical-sports interest in clubs and/or sports entities, including Real Madrid C.F., regarding the user.

The Campus Experience values-based training is a Real Madrid Foundation project that offers the opportunity to live a team experience to discover and share the values of Madridismo.

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

For the knowledge of both participants and families, basic internal regulations are detailed below to ensure the proper and optimal operation of the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience. Non-compliance may lead to sanctions or expulsion.

At the beginning of each campus, monitors and/or coordinators of each group will explain the internal rules in detail, but in general, it is mandatory:

to respect schedules,
to respect instructions from campus personnel,
not to engage in behavior that harms other participants and/or workers,
not to smoke or drink alcohol,
not to mistreat facilities or enter unauthorized spaces,
not to use mobile phones,
not to take or use someone else’s property without permission.

Additionally, in the section on PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS, a mandatory code of conduct for every participant and parent/guardian is detailed.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

The Real Madrid Foundation, in compliance with current regulations on comprehensive protection of children and adolescents against violence, together with its commitment to the 2030 Agenda, and specifically with Target 16.2: “End abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children” under Goal 16 to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, has implemented a risk assessment system, protocols, and procedures that guarantee the fundamental rights of children and adolescents to their physical, mental, psychological, and moral integrity against any form of violence, ensuring the free development of their personality.

In this regard, the Real Madrid Foundation has appointed a Protection Delegate whom minors can contact via email at proteccionalmenor.fundacion@corp.realmadrid.com to express their concerns, and who will be responsible for disseminating and ensuring compliance with established protocols by the Real Madrid Foundation and third-party collaborators, as well as initiating pertinent communications in cases where a situation of violence against children or adolescents has been detected.

Neither the Real Madrid Foundation nor any third party will tolerate any type of abuse and/or harassment in the activities carried out. Reading and complying with the code of conduct specified below is mandatory for all participants and their family members:

Respect and do not damage facilities, equipment, and other items placed at my disposal to carry out my activity, keeping them in their assigned place before, during, and after the activity.
Do not leave sports facilities or residence without informing my coach or another senior person responsible from the Foundation or a third party, and having obtained permission to do so.
Do not leave rooms except in emergencies, in which case I must immediately notify my monitor.
Attend my activity with the necessary equipment and proper clothing to perform it.
Respect all rules imposed.
Go to the Protection Delegate, my coach, coordinator, or a senior person responsible from the Foundation or a third party if I have any questions.
Do not consume any harmful substance (smoking, drinking alcohol, etc.) at any time during my participation in Real Madrid Foundation campuses.
Respect all peers, coaches, and other persons participating in the activity and the facilities.
Promote fair play and maintain sporting behavior in victory and defeat.
Always greet other users, technical staff, referees, and other personnel participating in the activity.
Accept with sportsmanship and respect any play during the activity, as well as any refereeing decision or decision by my coaches.
Be punctual.
Inform my coaches and technical staff of my injuries or potential injuries, and my physical condition, before and during the activity.
Do not engage in discriminatory behavior toward peers or persons directly or indirectly related to my activity, whether by reason of sex, age, race, skin color, ethnicity, origin, language, religion, ideology, disability, identity, sexual orientation, appearance, economic status, etc.
Do not use mobile phones during the activity, including in locker rooms, nor to make image and/or voice recordings of peers, technical staff, and other persons linked to the activity for the purpose of carrying out any form of harassment.
Do not fight, insult, abuse, harass, or perform harmful gestures or actions toward any person related to the Foundation or my activity.
Inform the Protection Delegate if any adult or minor harasses me, assaults me, or exhibits suspicious behavior. Likewise, report to the Protection Delegate if I see or become aware of such situations suffered by any of my peers at proteccionalmenor.fundacion@corp.realmadrid.com.

Along with my commitments, I have the right to:

Freely develop and enjoy my activities.
Feel in a safe environment, enjoying that security and protection, being valued for who I am and not for what I am, without discrimination by reason of sex, age, race, skin color, ethnicity, origin, language, religion, ideology, disability, identity, sexual orientation, appearance, economic status, athletic ability, etc.
Participate in decisions about my activity, whether regarding its objectives, methodologies, or others, always according to my age and maturity.
Speak and be heard, to have a presumption of truthfulness regarding what is stated, with special importance regarding my safety or concerns.
Be informed and permanently assisted by any senior person responsible from the Foundation or a third party on how to request help.
Not be subject to retaliation or negative consequences for any of my actions or situation caused, provided they were done without malice, fully truthfully, or reporting any compromised situation, whether caused by Foundation personnel, a third party, or related to my activity.
Receive immediate care for any accident, injury, or worrying/distressing situation I may suffer.
Leave the activity in which I participate at the exact moment I decide to do so.

CODE OF ETHICS AND GOOD GOVERNANCE

Furthermore, you are informed that the Real Madrid Foundation has a compliance program, with its Code of Ethics and Good Governance being a fundamental pillar applicable to anyone who has any type of relationship with the Foundation, including participants and family members. This code contains the values and guidelines that must govern our activity, based, among others, on principles of ethics, responsibility, integrity, and transparency.

Likewise, you are informed that any action, conduct, or behavior contrary to legislation and/or the code of ethics and conduct that you become aware of may be communicated through:

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANCE

Regarding emergency healthcare assistance, you are informed that in the case of injury caused by an accident during sports activity, emergency assistance is covered through private insurance with Sanitas exclusively at the centers provided in this information. The Real Madrid Foundation will not cover any amount at centers not authorized by the insurer, nor for beneficiaries other than users, or for other causes or ailments not related to the activity in which the user is registered or that are not urgent. The Real Madrid Foundation recommends using approved sports glasses; the Foundation will not pay for broken non-approved glasses during the activity.

Information about Sanitas emergency insurance:

Rights and obligations of insured persons.

Below we summarize the rights and obligations under the emergency accident healthcare insurance policy (hereinafter “The Insurance Policy”), without prejudice to the Real Madrid Foundation, as policyholder, making available to insured persons the general and special conditions of the Policy detailing the scope of insured coverage with its limits and exclusions.

Applicable legislation: Law 50/1980, of October 8, on Insurance Contracts; Royal Legislative Decree 6/2004, of October 29, approving the revised text of the Law on Supervision and Regulation of Private Insurance, and its implementing Regulation (Royal Decree No. 2486/98 of November 20).

Insured group: Participants registered in the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience, provided that the necessary identifying data to register as insured has been communicated by the Foundation to Sanitas.

Insurer: SANITAS S.A. DE SEGUROS (hereinafter “SANITAS”), registered in the Special Register of Insurance Entities of the Ministry of Economy and Finance under code C-320, and under the supervision of the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds.

Insured coverage:

4.1. EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE for accidents occurring during the Real Madrid Foundation Campus activity, as well as subsequent medical assistance required by the Insured directly related to the urgently treated injury, and rehabilitation/physiotherapy sessions directly related to said injury up to a limit of 5 sessions.

The capital insured limit for all insured coverage amounts to 3,000 euros as mentioned.

All assistance will necessarily be provided in one of the Hospitals contracted by SANITAS for this purpose, specifically: HOSPITAL SANITAS LA MORALEJA, HOSPITAL SANITAS LA ZARZUELA, CLÍNICA CEMTRO, HOSPITAL MONTEPRÍNCIPE, VIRGEN DEL MAR, and HOSPITAL BLUA SANITAS VALDEBEBAS.

Exclusions: Those expressly set forth in the general conditions of The Policy, specifically:

Healthcare costs (pending surgical interventions, rehabilitation, etc.) derived from pre-existing injuries prior to signing this contract or arising from a disease.
Dental assistance of any kind.
Medical-sanitary specialty assistance not directly related to accidents covered by this contract.
Injuries intentionally caused by the Insured, suicide or attempted suicide, and voluntary self-harm.
Injuries and consequences derived from assaults, fights, and commission or attempted commission of criminal acts, with active intervention of the insured.
Healthcare liability on the part of SANITAS for injuries suffered in Traffic Accidents is excluded.
Injuries occurring in a state of mental alienation, manifest drunkenness, or under the influence of narcotics.
Hernias of any kind, low back pain, upper back pain, neck pain, and muscle tears that do not result from the defined object of the insurance, in accordance with the preceding clauses.
Pathological processes derived from ingesting spoiled food.
Psychological consequences of any kind.
Expenses for transfer and extra-hospital stays will in no case be covered, except for emergency transfers from the Sports School to the hospital at the moment the accident covered by the policy occurs.
Possible new complementary diagnostic or therapeutic techniques appearing in the medical care spectrum. In any case, SANITAS will incorporate them into the contract when their utility and effectiveness are proven, defined as at least regular use in hospitals of the National Health System.
Accidents occurring prior to the effective date of this insurance contract and all benefits derived directly or indirectly from said accident are excluded from coverage.
Any type of rehabilitation and/or physiotherapy treatment, except that prescribed by a SANITAS physician as a consequence of a sports accident and up to a maximum of three months following it.

Manner of providing services: Healthcare Assistance will be provided as follows:

Assistance will be provided exclusively at the following hospital centers: HOSPITAL SANITAS LA MORALEJA, HOSPITAL SANITAS LA ZARZUELA, CLÍNICA CEMTRO, HOSPITAL MONTEPRÍNCIPE, HOSPITAL VIRGEN DEL MAR, AND HOSPITAL BLUA SANITAS VALDEBEBAS.
Each time any type of assistance is required, the insured must identify themselves and provide the documentation required by the center or SANITAS for that purpose.
For non-emergency assistance, the insured must request prior authorization from SANITAS.
Insured persons who, while on medical leave, practice any sports activity and require medical assistance arising from this practice are automatically excluded from the coverage of this contract.
Examinations, surgical interventions, and/or rehabilitation treatments may only be prescribed by physicians from the SANITAS panel who provide professional services in one of the indicated hospital centers.
The Insured shall not pay any amount when attended by physicians or contracted services of SANITAS and shall report any irregularity produced in this regard to SANITAS.
The Insured shall in no case consult simultaneously or successively two physicians of the same specialty for the same reason or ailment without prior authorization from SANITAS.

Duration of insured coverage:

During participation in the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience.

Healthcare assistance provided during the three months immediately following the occurrence of the sports injury covered shall also be covered, provided it involves medical care or rehabilitation/physiotherapy sessions directly related to accidents occurring during the validity period of the policy and communicated and covered during said period. If the Insured requires medical assistance or rehabilitation/physiotherapy treatment, it must be prescribed by a physician belonging to the SANITAS medical panel treating the Insured’s injury. In no case will such treatments be covered after the three-month period indicated, nor will they exceed 5 sessions in the case of rehabilitation/physiotherapy. Any benefit covered by the policy must be performed in centers designated by SANITAS. In the event the Insured needs any type of benefit outside the coverage of this policy, it shall be assumed by the parent or legal guardians of the injured person through their express consent.

Claim channels:

Control of the Insurance Entity’s activity corresponds to the Spanish State, exercised through the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.

In case of any claim regarding the insurance contract, the Policyholder, Insured, Beneficiary, Injured Third Party, or Successors in interest of any of them must address their claim to the Insurer’s Claims Department—in writing to Calle Ribera del Loira No. 52 (28042 Madrid) or by email to reclamaciones@sanitas.es (Claims Department), who will acknowledge receipt in writing and resolve the claim with a reasoned written decision within a maximum legal period of two months from the presentation date.

The claimant may also initiate administrative claim proceedings before the Claims Service of the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds. For this purpose, the claimant must accredit that the two-month period established for resolution by Sanitas Claims Department has elapsed or that the claim was rejected.

In any case, recourse may be made to the competent Courts and Tribunals.

Processing of personal data:

Personal data of insured persons will be transferred by the Real Madrid Foundation as policyholder to SANITAS, which will incorporate it into an automated file for the execution of contractual relations and handling of claims that may arise. If the FOUNDATION and the insured do not consent to the inclusion of their data in these files and subsequent processing, the insurance contract cannot take effect. Data of insured persons regarding services covered by the policy may be communicated by SANITAS to the FOUNDATION as policyholder.

In relation to personal data processed by SANITAS, we inform you:

Data Controller: SANITAS, SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA DE SEGUROS (Sanitas), with registered office at C/ Ribera del Loira, 52, 28042 Madrid, Spain.

Purpose: Your personal data, including health data, will be processed for the following purposes: Formalization, development, and execution of the insurance contract; Provision and coverage of healthcare service subject to the insurance contract, with authorization to request and obtain health information from health professionals for this purpose; Research for designing care models under the insurance contract; Offering and managing care and prevention programs (health promotion service) under the insurance contract; Actuarial risk management to determine appropriate rates; Compliance with Sanitas’ legal obligations, including insurance regulations, tax laws, and data protection regulations; Analysis of your interests and needs based on data provided by you, including health data, personal data generated from services provided by Sanitas, and data obtained through other means; Sending commercial communications through any channel, including electronically; Performing anonymization and pseudonymization procedures on your personal data; Transferring your personal data to group companies for commercial purposes and scientific/statistical research purposes, as well as to third-party collaborating companies for commercial purposes.

Legitimation: Execution of the contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interest, scientific/statistical research purposes, and consent as detailed in Additional Information.

Recipients: Group companies and third-party collaborating companies. Additionally, data processors whose international transfer is based on authorization from the Director of the Spanish Data Protection Agency and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Rights: Access, rectify, and erase data, as well as other rights, as explained in Additional Information.
