Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

What is Campus Experience?

Campus Experience is a summer educational program for boys and girls aged 6 to 17, organized by the Real Madrid Foundation. Its objective is to offer a unique educational experience combining football practice with educational activities focused on values such as respect, teamwork, equality, self-esteem, motivation, autonomy, and healthy habits. Through training, workshops, and coexistence dynamics, participants develop both their sports and personal skills in a safe and professional environment.

Campus Experience is held every summer in the Community of Madrid, in other cities in Spain, and in rural environments from mid-June to mid-August. Sports activities take place at Real Madrid Sports City (Valdebebas) and other municipal sports centers in the region.

Campus Experience offers different options adapted to the age of the participants. Each format combines sports training, educational activities, and values education.
The main options are:

  • Campus ONE Residential: Sunday to Friday. For boys, girls, players, and goalkeepers aged 9 to 17.
  • Campus ONE Full-Day: Monday to Friday. For boys, girls, players, and goalkeepers aged 7 to 16.
  • Campus ONE Half-Day: Monday to Friday mornings. For boys, girls, players, and goalkeepers aged 6 to 16.
  • Campus MAX Residential: Sunday to Saturday. For boys, girls, players, and goalkeepers aged 9 to 17.
  • Campus MAX Full-Day: Monday to Friday. For boys, girls, players, and goalkeepers aged 9 to 17.
  • Campus F Residential: Sunday to Saturday. For girls, players, and goalkeepers aged 9 to 17.
  • Campus F Full-Day: Monday to Friday. For girls, players, and goalkeepers aged 9 to 17.

Campus Experience MAX is a program intended for boys and girls aged 9 to 17 who already have a prior football base, so it is only available in Full-Day and Residential options, while Campus Experience is a camp intended for any boy or girl who loves football regardless of their skills, offered in Half-Day (6 to 14 years), Full-Day (7 to 16 years), and Residential (9 to 17 years) options.

Additionally, Campus Experience MAX has a reduced coach/participant ratio, allowing for a more intensive and personalized experience (although training is always group-based). It also includes a greater number of hours on the pitch, with one additional hour of training per day compared to the Campus Experience program.

At Campus Experience MAX, participants receive two official kits (one white and one black) and a boot bag, while in Campus Experience options (except Residential), a single kit is provided.

No. Each family is responsible for booking their child’s flights. For children traveling alone, the transfer service from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) or Atocha Station can be booked.

All official Campus Experience transfers are made from and to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) or Atocha Station.

In that case, a member of the Campus Experience team will enter the terminal with the official accreditation and necessary documentation to pick up the participant directly at the flight arrival gate. On the departure day, the same procedure will be carried out in reverse: the campus staff will accompany the participant to the airline counter, complete the check-in, and hand them over to the person designated by the airline.

It is important to book the unaccompanied minor service for both arrival and departure and notify Campus Experience in advance by sending the flight and airline details.

Yes, but in these cases, they must book the extra night service. No more than two additional nights can be booked before the start of the program, nor more than two additional nights at the end of it.

Yes, it is possible to adapt the arrival and departure times, provided it is previously consulted with the campus team and approved and agreed upon with them.
In case of needing to arrive one night before the start of the program and/or stay one night after its end, the extra night service can be booked through the customer service team.

No more than two additional nights can be booked before the start of the program, nor more than two additional nights at the end of it.
The extra night service does not include additional activities to the program. It is exclusively an accommodation and care service during that night.

The participants stay in a private, fully equipped residence. The building has restricted access and program staff staying on the same premises.

The rooms can be single or double, and all have a private bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi connection, and cleaning service. Room assignment is based on age, gender, and option.

Yes. The Campus Experience staff lives with the participants in the residence and offers 24-hour supervision and accompaniment.

Additionally, an external security team controls accesses and common areas.

The residence has all the necessary amenities for participants to enjoy a safe and pleasant stay:

  • Air-conditioned rooms.
  • Own dining hall with balanced menus.
  • Leisure and television room.
  • Study and rest areas.
  • Laundry service for the Campus kits (done by Campus Experience staff a couple of times during the stay).

No. For security reasons, participants cannot leave without accompaniment. They can only do so together with campus staff or during organized outings (training sessions, excursions, visits).

Family members wishing to pick up their child must be previously authorized and present their ID at the entrance.

No. For security and privacy reasons, external visits are not allowed during the program. Campus Experience promotes independent living and teamwork, so visits would disrupt the educational dynamics.

Every day, participants have a set time to communicate with their families, where they can use their mobile phones or connect via Wi-Fi. In case of emergency outside that time, parents can contact the campus coordination team.

Campus Experience has a medical protocol and a private medical service. Should a participant require medical attention, they will be accompanied by an instructor to the nearest health center, and the family will be informed immediately.

All meals take place in the residence dining hall or at the training pitch, in shifts organized by groups and always under the supervision of the campus staff. The dining hall is managed by a professional catering service that prepares balanced menus adapted to the participants’ needs.

It depends on the option:

  • Residential camp: includes breakfast, snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner.
  • Full-Day camp: includes snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
  • Half-Day camp: includes a mid-morning snack.

Meal times are organized around the training sessions and daily activities, aiming for participants to replenish their energy regularly.

We offer varied menus based on the Mediterranean diet, designed for children to enjoy balanced nutrition that provides the necessary energy for their daily life at the campus.

Campus Experience pays special attention to food allergies and intolerances. During registration, guardians must detail any allergy or restriction so that the kitchen staff and instructors can guarantee a safe and appropriate menu.

Personalized menus are prepared for participants with allergies to gluten, lactose, nuts, or other specific foods. The staff is trained to handle food avoiding cross-contamination.

Yes. Campus Experience has pork-free, vegetarian, lactose-free, or Halal options. Kosher diet is not offered.

All these requests must be communicated at least 30 days before the start of the program to ensure their proper organization with the catering service.

No. For food safety and allergen control reasons, bringing food from outside is not allowed, except for justified medical cases that require it, duly approved by the campus coordination.

Yes. All participants eat together with their instructors and groupmates, thus fostering coexistence and a sense of team.

During meals, instructors supervise that participants eat correctly and attend to any need or incident. Meals are not included in the Half-Day camp.

All participants are guaranteed to train a minimum of two days at Real Madrid City (Valdebebas). The rest of the sessions will take place in other sports centers adapted to the needs of the campus. The exact locations will depend on the chosen option and dates.

The technical team consists of official Real Madrid Foundation Coaches. They are accompanied by a group of instructors and coordinators specialized in leisure and free time.

Campus Experience applies the official methodology of the Real Madrid Foundation, based on the comprehensive education of the participant: technique, tactics, and values.

Each session combines specific exercises with team dynamics, seeking the balance between football improvement and personal development.

The training sessions are structured in blocks: warm-up, technical-tactical development, game simulation, and final reflection.

Participants are grouped according to their age.

Each session lasts 60 minutes.

In addition to the sports sessions, participants take part in educational, recreational, and cultural activities called ‘Experience Activities,’ aimed at personal growth, teamwork, and the values of Real Madrid.

Residential participants also enjoy supervised evening activities.

Yes. All residential programs include a visit to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium Tour, where participants learn about the club’s history, the trophy room, and exhibition areas.

That activity is not guaranteed.

No. Registration of a minor must be done exclusively by their father or mother, since during the process permissions and authorizations are accepted that only their legal representative can grant.

The only exception will be when there is a legal absence of the parents (for example, death or other legal circumstances) and another person officially has custody or guardianship of the minor. In these cases, it must be accredited by the corresponding documentation.

In the second registration form, you can indicate the people authorized to pick up the minor. Therefore, there is no problem with a relative or another trusted person being listed as an authorized person for pick-up.

Yes. Participants can register for several weeks and combine programs on the same registration form.

Yes, but changes must be requested at least 30 calendar days in advance and are subject to availability. If the change is to a lower-priced program, the price difference will not be refunded.

Yes, provided that both participants are registered in the same option, are of the same age, and participate on the same dates. The request must be indicated during the registration process, in the comments section. Although the organizing team makes every effort to fulfill these requests, it cannot be 100% guaranteed.

Yes. During registration, you must indicate the full name and ID document of the person or persons authorized to pick up the minor. The instructors will check this information at the end of each day and will not hand over the participant to anyone who is not authorized or does not present the document listed in the registration.

If you wish to change the person in charge of pick-up, you must notify the campus coordination email at least 24 hours in advance.

Yes. If the minor is authorized to leave the campus unaccompanied, an authorization signed by the legal guardian registered in advance must be sent. This document can be requested through the email info@campusexperiencermf.com and must be sent at least 24 hours before departure.

Payment for the program is made through the official online registration form, by credit or debit card. Cash or telephone payments are not accepted.

There are two payment options:

  • Full payment: 100% of the amount is paid at the time of registration.
  • Installment payment: the amount is divided into three installments:
    • 30% upon formalizing the registration + additional services booked.
    • 35% within the following 30 days.
    • The remaining 35%, 60 days before the start of the program.

The spot is not considered confirmed until the corresponding payment has been received within the established deadlines.
The installment payment will only be available during part of the season. From that date, new registrations must be made through full payment of the program at the time of registration.

Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, or similar) are accepted. Payment with American Express is not accepted.

Payment details are entered into a secure gateway, and under no circumstances does Campus Experience staff request or manage banking information by email or phone.

Once the payment process is completed, the guardian will receive a confirmation email with the registration summary. Final confirmation is subject to the complete receipt of the required documents before the start of the program.

Yes. In case of registering for more than one week, a 5% discount will be applied for each additional week

If the participant does not make the payment within the indicated deadlines, the spot reservation will be automatically canceled, and the quota will be released for another participant.

If registration is made within that period, it must be sent within a maximum of 48 hours from payment confirmation.

If the documentation is not submitted within the indicated period, the participant will not be able to access the campus until the situation is regularized. In these cases, Campus Experience does not guarantee the spot reservation or the timely delivery of material.

Spain uses a voltage of 230 V and type F plugs (two round pins). If your country uses a different plug type, you must bring a power adapter. It is also recommended to check the compatibility of electronic device chargers before traveling.

Most international phones work correctly in Spain provided they are tri-band and unlocked. Even so, it is recommended to confirm with the local operator the conditions of the international roaming service and possible additional costs. Free Wi-Fi connection is available in the residence and main facilities.

For security and organizational reasons, campus activities are exclusive to participants.

Campus Experience has a lost and found service, although the recovery of lost items is not guaranteed. If the item is not claimed during the stay, it will be kept for a maximum period of 15 days after the end of the campus.

Before the start of the program, families receive an email with the phone number of the chaperone assigned to the participant. This contact can be used during the campus via WhatsApp.

In the case of residential participants, access will also be requested to include the guardian in a WhatsApp group where they will be informed of the daily life of the group members.

Additionally, you can contact the Customer Service team from Monday to Thursday from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. and Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. at the email info@campusexperiencermf.com or by phone at (+34) 912 775 988.
