Campus Experience Football and Responsible Gaming 2021

The innovative Campus Experience Football and Responsible Gaming program offers a unique opportunity for boys and girls from 7 to 13 years old to combine their two passions: football and responsible gaming together with an educational background. In the present edition 2021, Campus Experience Football and Responsible Gaming is developed, for the third consecutive year, in hand with The Global Esports Academy, co-organizer of the program; and, in addition, it incorporates a new collaborator, PlayStation®Talents, a pioneering program to support the video game industry in Spain, created by Sony Interactive Entertainment Iberia.

In this 3rd edition, Campus Experience Football and Responsible Gaming will welcome more than 80 participants between 4th and 16th July 2021 in its residential camp, from Saturday to Sunday, and day camp, from Monday to Friday. During the 2 weeks we will work on football, social skills, healthy habits and the practice of responsible gaming. Practicing responsible gaming offers a wide range of advantages: learning of dynamics of hand-eye coordination, encouraging the practice of sports and promoting values associated with sport and e-sports.

The training program designed in hand with The Global Esports Academy, a reference project for the learning and improvement of electronic sports and video games, combines the content of electronic sports with those of the educational curriculum. Content offering will include workshops and activities aimed at fostering a responsible relationship with video games, the transmission of values and awareness through video games developed under the PlayStation®Talents, program; all thanks to the provision of PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 consoles that will be available in the classrooms.

Some of the games and training programs in this edition:

  • Geography with FIFA 21: before starting to play, students will have to place on the map the different players of the team they choose in FIFA21.
  • Mathematics with FIFA 21: using player statistics and some data such as the measurements of the terrain of the game or the height and weight of these, the professor will explain different mathematical concepts.
  • PS Talents Treasure Rangers and PS Talents Massira: games oriented to the achievement of activities decided by the teacher. Through the video game Treasure Ranger, participants learn about ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and work on inclusion and diversity.
  • Supervised Free Play: the teacher and the available staff will ensure the correct, appropriate and responsible use of the video game by the students.

Campus Experience Real Madrid Foundation Football and Responsible Gaming Responsable demonstrates that gaming, sport and learning are compatible in an environment controlled, programmed and supervised by professionals.
