Campus Experience Azuqueca de Henares 2021
The presentation of Campus Experience Real Madrid Foundation Azuqueca de Henares 2021 with the collaboration of the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares and the local company Saint-Gobain Isover took place on June 15th 2021. This Campus is going to be held from 5th to 9th July 2021 at the San Miguel complex; a project aimed at boys and girls from 6 to 14 years old for training in values through football.
The Rio Henares Leisure Center hosted the celebration of this event, which had the participation of our CEO, Mr. Joaquín Sagués, who explained that Campus Experience is an “educational and training project for girls and boys where football is not the aim, but a tool to work on values. The week begins with the individual, the ‘I’ and self-control, with dribbles and passes; it continues with the team, the ‘We’, with companionship, attack and group defense and ends with the ‘Rival’, the ‘They’, with respect, tolerance, attack and defense”. Mr. Joaquín Sagués also thanked the collaboration of Saint-Gobain Isover and the City Council.
The different representatives of the collaborating entities also participated in the event. For his part, the mayor, Mr. José Luis Blanco, has thanked the collaboration of Saint-Gobain Isover, “one more neighbor of Azuqueca that helps us to make city”, and the support of the Real Madrid Foundation: “this campus uses sport as an element of social cohesion”. On the other hand, Mr. Filipe Ramos, the general director of Saint-Gobain Isover, referred to the values associated with the practice of sport and hoped that the initiative would be well received and could be repeated. The presentation was also attended by the coordinator of the Government Team, Ms. Susana Santiago, and the Councillor for Sports Challenges, Mr. Enrique Pérez de la Cruz, as well as other representatives of Saint-Gobain Isover and the Real Madrid Foundation.
Campus Experience Real Madrid Foundation collaborates with the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares and Saint-Gobain Isover to provide a unique and differentiated alternative to football, leisure and training in Azuqueca de Henares with a half-day program, from 9:00 to 13:30 which includes trainings led by coaches of the Real Madrid Foundation (from 9:00h.), lunch break at 10:30h, sports training (at 10:45 h.) and experience activities (from 11:30 h.). All this in a safe environment, under strict compliance with health regulations and with the maximum guarantees of safety and hygiene.
