Campus Experience 2017

This summer, for the eighth time, the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience is being held once again. Registrations are now open for any children aged 7-17 who want to enjoy a holiday packed with football, fun and the Real Madrid Foundation’s values.

Participants can choose between four camp formats: Football, High Performance, Goalkeepers, and Goalkeepers High Performance. They can also choose between enjoying the experience as boarders (with accommodation) or non-boarders (without accommodation).

As you would expect, this year, Campus Experience is adding new tweaks to improve this education/sport project aimed at the youngest in the house. “For Campus Experience High Performance, we have cut the number of participants per group to 16 players plus a goalkeeper and we also provide a personalised qualitative assessment at the end of the week, with recommendations made by our team of professionals”, explains Javier Sanz, Head of Programme and Education at Campus Experience. What is more, at the Campus Experience this year, players will benefit from four distinct types of exercise to improve their skills on the pitch. Group training sessions, individual improvement periods, social/sport theory classes and matches are the four lesson types that will give the participants a grounding in technique and tactics.
British Council-certified English classes

Language-learning has always played a key role in this education/sport experience. Boys and girls who are boarding will learn English grammar and vocabulary (sessions taken by British Council teachers) applied to the world of football, on issues as diverse as football, tactics, and the parts and rules of the game, as well as the positive values from sport associated with Real Madrid. At the end of the courses, they will be able to use specific aspects of the language and will be better equipped to understand the instructions given by coaches on the football pitch.
Cervantes Institute-certified Spanish classes

Foreign children will also be able to opt for Spanish classes (given by Cervantes Institute-certified teachers from Choices International). This year, any boarders participating in Campus Experience Football will have an hour of language-learning every day (Monday to Friday), while boarders taking part in Campus Experience High Performance will have an hour and a half (Monday to Thursday).
Centres across the world
In 2017, there will be Campus Experience Centres all over the world, in Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. Spain, the UK, Russia, Greece, Israel, Qatar, China, South Korea, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and the Dominican Republic are some of the countries where it will be held in 2017.
