The Ciudad Deportiva ‘Virgen de la Cabeza’ in Valdepeñas will host the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience from June 27 to July 1, which was presented today at the Ciudad del Vino aimed at boys and girls aged 7 to 17. An activity that the pandemic forced to suspend in 2020 with more than 150 registered boys and girls who could not enjoy this sporting and social experience.

The Councilor for Sports of Valdepañas, David Sevilla, wanted to “thank the campus for trusting in Valdepeñas, being this coming June is a vote of confidence that they give us and for what we hope to be up to.”

For your part. Mr. Joaquín Sagués, Director of the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience wanted to thank the Consistory for its collaboration in lowering the registration fee for this campus, so that it is more accessible to families.

The campus will take place in the ‘Virgen de la Cabeza’ Sports City from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the price is 170 euros and includes five days of activities, as well as like a trip to Real Madrid City with training, food and a tour of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The collaboration of the Valdepeñas City Council with the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience contemplates priority in registrations for the children of Valdepeñas, who will be able to formalize them until March 31, and later it will open for the rest of the towns until completing the 150 established places.

Values ​​training

The boys and girls participating in this campus will be distributed by age and a varied program of activities. Both coaches and monitors will coordinate the activities of the participants and will ensure that sport and education in values ​​are combined in a homogeneous manner, under the methodological framework of the Real Madrid Foundation. The playful-training activities guarantee fun and learning, based on the educational values ​​of sport.

Every day of the week, the positive values ​​associated with sport will be worked on with the youngest, such as: camaraderie, motivation, respect and effort. That will not only help them improve the game, but also their comprehensive training as people through football and other training activities.

In addition, talks will be given with specialized professionals related to nutrition in the development of the athlete so that the participants improve their eating habits and to maintain a healthy and healthy diet as well as first aid and rules of the game.
