From the Real Madrid foundation we inform you that during the Campus Experience 2020, Health & safety measures will be applied according to the terms established by the health authorities and in accordance with the current legislation in force at any given time, as well as those considered necessary in order to prevent the spread of the pandemic, in attempt to guarantee the well-being and safety of all participants and staff working in the organisation of the Campus Experience Fundacion Real Madrid.

The organization has established a safety protocol that consists of taking people’s temperature, sanitizing hands and disinfecting the soles of shoes, continuously cleaning shared spaces and materials, using mask and/or social distancing whenever possible. These measures defined by the Foundation should be complied with by all participants and organization staff.

Also, we inform you that due to the current situation and with the purpose set out in the first paragraph, all users and professionals who are going to participate in the Real Madrid Foundation’s Campus Experience should take a test whose results must be negative in order to start the activity.

All participants should pass a quick test at no extra cost, carried out by EUROFINS MEGALAB, a company with more than 30 years of experience in the health sector and a long history as a national leader in providing clinical analysis services, pathological anatomy and genetics. Eurofins Megalab is committed to supervising under medical direction the prescription, treatment, chain of custody and the result of the test performed.

The quick test consists of a quick qualitative serological test through capillary blood sample performed by health care staff, which gives a result in only 10/15 minutes. This will be done on the first day of activity at Campus Experience.

Depending on the result, the following measures will be taken:

  • Positive result:
    • Positive IgM: The participant has early antibodies and therefore has the virus active in the body and can spread it. His legal guardians will be asked to pick up the participant. It is recommended that you go to your family doctor with this information.
  • Negative results:
    • Positive IgG with negative IgM: The participant has antibodies and therefore has passed the virus but is not active in the body. The participant complies with the health requirements to participate in the Campus Experience.
    • Negative IgG and IgM: The participant has no antibodies. The participant complies with the health requirements to participate in the Campus Experience.

If during the 14 days prior to joining the Campus Experience Fundación Real Madrid the participant has had any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, tiredness, lack of taste/smell, lack of air; or other atypical symptoms, such as sore throat, muscle aches, diarrhoea, chest pain, headache or skin rash, or has lived with or been in close contact with someone with a positive test and/or symptoms compatible with such illness, he/she may NOT start the activity, and must inform the organization where he/she will be informed of the different options available.

Also, in the event that the participant had any symptoms or has any respiratory, cardiac, affecting the immune system and / or disease that may be exacerbated by the coronavirus, it is recommended that your doctor’s assessment of the suitability of participating in the activity.

If after signing, the participant or someone in his or her family has any of the symptoms, he or she should inform the organization where he or she will be informed of the different options available.

Finally, in the event that the Real Madrid Experience Foundation 2020 Campus is cancelled, either before or during the event, for reasons indicated by the health authorities and legislation in force at any given time, as well as by the protocols carried out by the Foundation to prevent contagion and the spread of the pandemic, participants will be informed of the different options available.


Data Protection:

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (RGPD) and with current Spanish legislation, we hereby inform you that your personal data will be incorporated into the Data Protection System of the Fundación Real Madrid with Tax Identification Code G81828493 and address at Avda Concha Espina 1, 28036, Madrid (Spain). The purpose of the treatment is the management of the user’s participation in the campuses of the Real Madrid Foundation, being able to keep them, during the time that the consent lasts, or in its case, the legal time established for each one of the legal obligations that derive from the treatments for which it has been consented. The legal basis for the processing of the data is the general interest and the interest of the non propagation of a pandemic. The data may only be used for the purposes set out above, in accordance with the principles of transparency and purpose limitation. In the event that you have chosen the option of carrying out the test through the Real Madrid Foundation, which in turn contracts the services of the Megalab laboratory, we inform you that your data may be transferred to this laboratory for the management of the appointment and the performance of the test.

Under the terms established in the regulations on data protection, you may at any time revoke the authorization granted for the processing of personal data, as well as exercise your rights of access, rectification, opposition, limitation, deletion, portability and not to be subject to automated decisions by writing to the Royal Madrid Foundation (Av. de las Fuerzas Armadas 402, 28055 Madrid) or by contacting via email to cumplimiento.fundación@corp.realmadrid.com; or through our Data Protection Officer (Persevera, S.L.U. in the person of Manuel del Palacio.
